[It's been a long day for the lowly slave of the evil king Stan. He had to do a bunch of errands because suddenly everybody had something to do. Stan had been ranting for several hours because a few little kids try to see if he was made of paper.

It probably would have been shorter, if Ari hadn't pointed out that outright killing the kids probably wouldn't  help. That got the shadow ranting about idiotic good for nothing slaves aka Ari.

Once he got home he had to watch his mom be romanced by Stan's flighty butler. Didn't he guy see his parents were happily married. Actually why the hell did mom put up with it. He was pretty sure she wasn't an idiot.

Ari decided to take a relaxing walk out with thankfully Stan decide to take a nap. He wander pretty far away from the village. So here he was randomly slashing killer bunny to death. He probably wouldn't notice if someone was watching.]

[Rus' hadn't meant to wander off so far, truly! But despite himself he'd been distracted by the different sights, a young child in a big world so different from the snowy forests and small but proud capital he and his sisters shared. In actuality, he didn't really know where he was at all but his boss had brought him along and dimly he could feel the tight tug and pulse of thread that lead back to his land. So things couldn't be all that bad, right?

But this is a ery strange place indeed! Because as soon as Rus focuses in on the world immediately around him, it's to watch a boy beat up a bunny. For a long moment Rus is silent, simply focusing on Ari and his bunny defeating skills because, uh oh that bun looks kinda weird??? But when he speaks up, Rus' wants to know whats up.]

Why're you beatin' up a rabbit?

[After giving the bunny one last hit, it goes puff and disappears. The question catches Ari of guard, he looks around a bit before spotting the child. Oh great a kid...actually he's never seen this child around the village before. Actually they never pay him any attention unless Stan is around. He stares at the child for a few moments before replying.]

It was trying to kill me.

[At this point Russia might notice that there is an odd small cloud floating near the ground toward him. What made the cloud even weirder, it has eyes.]

Tryin' to kill you? [His head tips to the side.] Usually its the other way around, I think.

[Which is to say he's staring intently for what appears to be a eight year old. ----And he's going to catch sight of that cloud right about now, curious and curiouser!!!]

Why's that cloud have eyes? Are you a witch?

[He was just about to attack that cloud but pauses looking at the child again.]

...You've never seen a ghost cloud before?

[He considers the cloud and then the kid. What kind of people didn't know about ghost clouds in this day and age. Unless this kid lived under a rock...Actually that could be right, he met weirder people before.

He has bigger problems to deal with at the moment. That cloud looked a quite red. Plus fighting with someone in the cross fire was never a good idea. With the cloud getting closer he moves, snatching the kid up and booking it.]

Ghost cloud--? [He's tempted to step closer to examine it, but ghosts in clouds are never a good idea! It doesn't much matter in the end, however, because Rus' is scooped up and held tight as Ari books it out of there. So Russia's just going to peer over his shoulder at that weird cloud thing.]

Why's it like that?

Not sure and I don't want ask. [Most ghost that he actually had a chance to talk to screwed him over. Best not to chance it. ]

I do know it's dangerous and probably wants to eat to us.

[He getting farther away from it now, hopefully it will give up soon.]

Oh. [He huffs and wraps his arms around Ari's neck, watches the ghost cloud get further and further away until it's just a speck that turns and disappears.]

It's not followin' us any more.

[Ari skids to a stop checking his surround before gently placing the child back down. He gives the area one more glance around before getting on his knees and staring at the child? While the boys clothing weren't that odd there was something about him he couldn't place.]

Now, where did you come from?

[childofwinter]

[As soon as Rus' is firmly on the ground he goes about straightening his clothes and making sure it's all in place before looking up at Ari, there's a frown here but he answers promptly.]

My boss brought me along to see this land. [A pause, suddenly unsure despite his previous surety.] I'm not sure where he is now though.
